Manhattan Island Shopping

This is a gorgeous shop with perfectly displayed produce. I shop for gourmet ingredients all over the world and I found this to be pretty reasonable for the good stuff. I found anchovy stuffed olives in the can to ship home for 1.99 plus many chorizos from around the world. It's nice, especially for the location. It's no Trader Joe's but no store has everything and these guys have some good buyers stocking their shelves.

Well...I bought anchovy stuffed olives for 1.99, chorizo from Spain, Large caper berries for martinis (hard to find), and some porcini mushroom polenta in a tube for 1.99. All of this I can ship home since it's non-perishable. Wonderful wonderful.

SOHO is small!! you can
walk around.

you can buy clothes, shoes, various kinds of goods, brand stuff, pierced earings, etc...

there are many comfortable cafes!!
it's good to have a rest.

When you see this big plaza surrounded by flags and a sunken plaza (skating rink in winter), you've found Rockefeller Center. Not just 1 building, but many. Lots of shopping and dining to do in this area. Don't miss out on the underground part.

I like the Metropolitan Museum Store, my husband goes for the NBC Store.

Real flowers!!!

Macy's in spring is LOVELY. I felt like I was i somebody's garden instead of a department store! And Macy's is huge. You can easily spent several hours inside! I was so amazed that all the flowers are real!!!
