We didn't go rafting, but it was a decent weekend, once the rain stopped. Many groups floated by as we had lunch over looking the river. At Narrowsburg is Big Eddy, and the raft drifted lazily around the 'pond', moving back out into the river current, and on down towards the south.
Located in the old Arlington House Hotel, the visitor center has information about rafting, hiking, historic sites and other places and things to do along the river. Great book selections on wildlife, plants, and outdoor activities.
Ate here one sunday about noon time. Very odd. Ordered beet salad, yet, I would say 4 or 5 tiny pieces of beet with lots of salad. Salad was described as having cranberries, was not served with cranberries, instead was replaced unannounced with green apples. The fish was decent, but was oven baked...and the name of the restaurant has grill in it, so why not grill a whole fish, instead, they filet the fish, so two orders of fish was actually one order..for rainbow trout. 14 dollars of 1/2 fish. For 14 dollars for rainbow trout, grill a whole fish please.

New York style bistro food. Great Chicken dinner - great price, helpings for two. Fish, beef, and chicken. There is a deck out back with a view over the river - the Big Eddy. Watch raft trips gliding by. Look for the Eagles nest.
