Favorite thing: Visit Central Park during the weekend.. We had a great time there during a lovely Saturday... In most of the green parks in NYC, you can't walk on the green grass, so there was so nice to watch all the kids play and run around in pure joy!!!
Fondest memory: The absolute number one, was meeting Kela and her lovely daughter Naomi... But the ferry ride to 'The Big Green Lady' ie statue of Liberty was nice, also the view from Empire state Building... Awesome...

Favorite thing: if i were to bring somebody,it would be Central park where we could either take strolls,or watch concerts. For lunch there is oh so many places to munch that I hardly had any #1 favorites, but my most favorite was the Carnegie deli. Delicious sandwiches, and soups.
Fondest memory: As being a former resident of Long Island,I could recall so many times I frequented both midtown, and downtown Manhattan.
Would take the railroad on sundays into the city from Valley Stream. And never came home till the near end of the day,it was a ball!

Favorite thing: Check out Central Park - its just superb. Also The New York Mercantile Exchange is worth a (free) visit to see the world's biggest oil and commodity futures markets in action. The museam of modern art on 47th street is a definite must. Shopping on Fifth Avenue is also MANDATORY for all visitors!
Fondest memory: Browsing in Barnes & Nobles on the upper West Side

Fondest memory: Went to a huge Anti-Nuclear Weapon rally in Central Park in 1980 (I was 12). Heard Jackson Browne singing Running on Empty coming from Central Park, thought someone had a radio blasting, but when I got there, saw it was actually him singing. It was a great day, all sorts of performers throughout the day and activists. Bought a t-shirt and wore it home. I pull into our driveway in NJ on my bicycle after getting home for NYC by the train. My parents are getting out of their car. Stupid me says Hi and they see the shirt with that day's date on it. Busted! That was when my parents discovered I was going to NYC by myself. And they were fine with it. Cool parents!

Favorite thing: Walk through Central Park on a sunny fall day.
Walk anywhere in the city. Each trip will be a unique experience. Or drive, it's the next best thing but see my warnings about driving in NYC.
Fondest memory: Sunday Brunch with my husband every week followed by a walk through different parts of the city.

Favorite thing: CENTRAL PARK: Must explore this wonderful place... Aside from the beautiful landscaping and amazing views of the city, there's much much more to it. If your a people watcher, this is your place, finding a comfortable seat is simple and the charechters you will see and sometimes even meet pass on by in quick succession.
Fondest memory: The people, despite all of the warnings I was given before moving up here, I've found that the people I've met so far have been absolutly wonderful. It's like any other place the personalities are a bit stronger but aside from that I have met some really great people from all over the world.

Favorite thing: Have a walk at Central Park
Fondest memory: The Central Park is the biggest park in Manhattan. It is located just in the heart of the island, between two avenues and two streets!?! You can't miss it.
A lot of New Yorkers come here (or at least they used to) for a walk, some jogging, a picnic, play some sports, etc. Also a lot of police detectives come here undercover (usually reading newspapers while wearing sunglasses in the middle of the night) to observe the exchange of suitcases, usually containing ransom money for someone's son or daughter. I guess i should stop watching so many movies.
No really, the Central Park is a lovely spot. It was my first impression of New York and it was great. Me and my sister used to come here every day near lunchtime to eat a snack and relax.

Fondest memory: Central Park too!!
I send my support to all police, fireman and soldiers around the world who fight against the terrorism.
In Argentina we suffer that in 70´s and 90´s. It´s horrible. But always appears men and women who fight against terrorist, and win the war.
God bless the fighters!

Favorite thing: Explore Central Park - you'll be amazed at the natural world you'll discover if you spend some time in the park.
Fondest memory: The best thing about New York is opportunity the city presents to all. Anything and everything you could possibly desire can be found in New York - you simply have to know where to find it. There's no place like Central Park in Spring...
