Favorite thing: come and photograph Lady Liberty aka the STATUE OF LIBERTY - the one New York tourist attraction you really shouldn't miss. The statue was apparently given to the United States by France to commemorate the alliance of the two countries during the American Revolution. Amazing!!
Favorite thing:
visit the Statue of Liberty and the Metropo;itan Opera House. Lunch at the Tavern on the Green in the Village is a must, too!

I love the hustle and bustle of shopping at the big stores in downtown Manhattan, especially at Christmas time.

Favorite thing: From Brooklyn Bridge - I love this view of the harbour. If you look closely, the Statue of Liberty can be seen in the distance.

Favorite thing: Take the Ellis Island ferry for FREE and get a great view of the Statue of Liberty and a break for about 45 minutes or so.
