Agozar: Fabulous Cuban fare and drinks

by HotRodEtte Written Sep 6, 2007

This was a great place to eat. They have a few tables outside, as well as a small bar area with few tables and their larger dining area. Hostess wasn't super friendly, but our waitress and bartender made up for it with their excellent hospitality.
Unfortunately the rest room is a one-person unisex, so I wouldn't recommend drinking too much here, if it has that "special bladder effect" on you! :)

Favorite Dish: I can't remember the name of the dish; something enchilados. It was yellow rice with spicy peppers and shrimp. Excellent dish and nice kick. Mojitos are fantastic, and their peach drink is really good as well.

    Agozar: Small but great prices

Cuban influence brings out great food and drink. Mojito's abound, but all drinks were quite well poured. Happy Hour from 5-8 provides "two for one" on drinks and appetizers which definitely helps keep the tab low.

Favorite Dish: As we were just snacking, we opted for a number of the tapas dishes. All were prepared well and tasted great. The "chips and salsa" were "banana chips" with a spicy guacamole that all but disappeared as soon as it was set on the table.

Agozar: Great and cheap Tapas and drinks

This is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. A small and comfortable place they have a couple rooms for hosting your latest party or tables and a bar to just chill in private conversation. The walls are bricked over and there are candle lights on the them that give an atmostphere not to be missed.

They have 5-8 happy hour every day with 2 for 1 drinks and tapas.

Bonus!!! is this restaurant is on the idine list for American Airlines.

    Agozar: Mojito's and plantains!

Agozar is a small place, but has a great vibe and a good happy hour (2 for 1) 5-8pm.
The plantains and guacamole are off the charts too.

Favorite Dish: the guacamole is the best I've ever had.
