Decadent cupcakes that come in several sizes. The large cupcakes may have filling inside which is an extra treat, but doesn't lend itself to how I eat my cupcakes - taking the top off and placing the bottom on the frosting to create a "sandwich". Mmmmm...

Favorite Dish: Love the Red Velvet cupcake! It's a classic and Crumbs does it well.

Cumbs is a bakery shop with locations throughout NYC. They make to die for cupcakes that are huge and delicious. There is a location a few blocks from work and whenever we celebrate someones brithdya we'll usually order a few cupcakes from here. They have huge selection of tasty flavors like the Devil Dog, Caramel Chew, Smores and Turtle. They also have the Red Velvet which is a favorite of mine. The prices of these yummy cupcakes are $3.75 each.

They also have other items like cookies, cakes and pies, but the cupcakes are the best. If you want a sampling of a few, order the minis. They carry a small variety of what they call classic cupcakes, the usual plain flavors for $2.95 each. Try some of their hot chocolate, so, so yummy!!

Favorite Dish: I love their Devil Dog, Red Velvet, Caramel Chew and Reese Cupcake with some hot chocolate.

This is a place we just happened upon. Having a half hour to kill before dinner kicked off we managed to get smoothies and cookies. Yes, Yes. We had smoothies and cookies just before dinner. Hi, Mom.

My daughter tends to like odd foods (Kangaroo burgers, etc), so much to my surprise she has taken a shine to the cupcakes created by Crumbs Bakeshop.
