  • Rice To Riches: A must see...I mean...taste

by RblWthACoz Written Oct 9, 2007

Rice to Riches is worth seeing just as much as it is worth eating at. You know how people say: "Oh, I hate rice pudding." Well they won't say that after visiting here. There have to be well over two dozen varieties to choose from as well as numerous toppings to accentuate them with. One word to the wise: one solo serving is enough for two people to share. Unless you want to try more than one flavor that is. If you are in SoHo, this is an absolutely necessary stop.

Rice To Riches: Did someone say Rice Pudding?

Rice to Riches... all rice pudding! amazing flavors... toppings you choose or extra sauces, although I think straight up is a great way to go. It's sorta like the baskin robbins of rice pudding. The place is very sheek and modern looking. I loved the bowls that they put the pudding in. we took ours to go... and they'll ship ANYWHERE so check out the webpage if you're interested but not in NYC

Favorite Dish: I had the Carmael Yogurt Rice Pudding. SOOOO GOOD! very rich, but isnt' that what it's about?

Rice to Riches: A Rice Pudding Lover's Heaven!

While 24 flavors of rice pudding may be difficult to imagine, Rice To Riches offers just that. Single portions are generous enough for two, if a little pricey at $4.50, but they'll happily put two different flavors in the slickly designed reusable packaging. A great stop after lunch or dinner in Chinatown.

Favorite Dish: Endangered Maple with blueberries; Marscapone with cherries are out of this world. Cinnamon sling is the closest to what you might normally define as rice pudding. Don't hesitate to ask for a taste.

Rice to Riches: Rice Pudding Eaters and Non-Eaters--Try This

This is a great rice pudding spot my uncle took me to. I didn't like rice pudding. Then, I tried their cherry rice pudding. It tasted better than some ice cream I've had.

Favorite Dish: Tried cherry and coconut--both delicious, but there are plenty of flavors to choose from. You can get two flavors in the same dish, and if you're with someone else, consider splitting a dish because the servings are fairly large.
