It was a warm day outside and we were feeling a bit hungry and in need of a cool drink. We headed into Sidewalk and were seated at a booth. I have been here several time before. This was once a popular spot to meet up with VTers.
Favorite Dish:
We ordered the sliders special which was two mini burgers served with homemade potatochips. The sliders wee rather good and juicy. The chips were excellent and not too greasy.
Helpfulness
Another typical East Village type of place to eat decent food and people watch. Mixed crowd here, but very comfy and interesting.
VERY IMPORTANT: They have a DAILY happy hour! (yes, this means weekends) good at both their bar (the bar half of the restaurant has live music in the back room and there's no cover)AND at the tables. The best part is that the hours are quite long--from 4 pm to 8! This seems to be the best happy hour in the East Village, because it's two for one(anything)--so you don't have to stick to those dreadful well drinks and crappy beer on tap.
