This place is a classic New York Restaurant that sticks to protocol. Well established as one of NYC best restaurants for 20 years, the service is fantastic. The food is mouth watering and well balanced. Main dishes are between $20-$30 and the wine list is a novel. Reservations are recommended especially on weekends. I went recently and had a great time being smitten with my dinner.

We had lunch there. The tuna sandwich and burger were allright, not spectacular. The portion is very large. I could only eat half of my sandwich. The atmosphere is nice and clean. But for the price, you might as well go to the diner around the corner.

I have never had a bad meal here, ever! It constantly amazes me. A perennial favorite for locals and tourists alike. The decor is cozy. The food is outstanding. The service is always top notch. It's warm friendly and inviting.
Make reservations as soon as possible. The reservation list opens a month prior to each date. Call the day the list opens. It's a tough reservation to get. And if necessary, put yourself on the waitlist and keep calling back to check on your waitlist status.
Favorite Dish: Don't miss the garlic potato chips and the ahi tuna! Order the tuna rare. It's such a treat. But honestly you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Union Square Cafe is one of those restaurants which does everything right. You will not be disappointed in the food, service or ambiance.
Favorite Dish: Everything is wondeful here, especially their fish dishes.
