Toys R Us: Your Kids are Gonna Love this Place

by bennforlife Written Dec 20, 2013

I've never seen so many toys in my life. This place really brought out the inner child in me.

As soon as you walk in you are greeted by a 3 story tall ferris wheel with cars of different cartoon characters. The store is divided into sections by toy type. There was a huge Barbie section, lego section, CANDY SECTION =). I was intrigued with the section that had little dinosaur bone kits that you could build your own dinosaur.

Toys R Us: For the young at heart

by Quartzy Written May 12, 2007

I never knew a Toys R Us store could have four floors! Or a ferris wheel!

The ferris wheel is undoubtedly the most impressive component of the store; a ride costs 4$.

When we were there, there was also a huge dinosaur that actually moved and roared, as well as a life-sized Jack Sparrow in mega-blocks. It was quite something.

There was also a sort of Barbie Castle you could walk into.

The rest of the store is pretty much what you expect in a regular toy store.

The Toys R Us on Broadway (Times Sq.) is definately worth a visit, specially for kids. It's not that the range of Toys is so big, but more of a showcase. The entrance displays a ferriswheel of 3/4 stories high (all in-door) and throughout all departments you find some of these big displays. Like a giant T-Rex, Lego structures etc.

This is the biggest Toys R Us in the entire World. You can't miss it. It is located in Time Square and it has a huge wall that changes pictures regulary. When you walk in there is an huge Ferris Wheel for the kids(or adults). There is a jurassic park area, lego land, huge barbie house, and a candy land. If your looking for gifts or souvenirs I'm sure you can find something in there.
