    VICTORIA'S SECRET: Fifth Avenue-Victoria's Secret

Victoria's Secret was started in San Francisco, California in 1977 by Stanford Graduate School of Business alumnus Roy Raymond, who felt embarrassed trying to purchase lingerie for his wife in very public and awkward department store environment. He opened the first store at Stanford Shopping Center. The stores were meant to create a comfortable environment for men, wood paneled walls, Victorian details, and helpful sales staff. Instead of racks of bras and panties in every size, there were single styles, paired together, and mounted on the wall in frames. Men could browse for styles and then sales staff would help estimate the appropriate size, pulling from inventory in the back. In 1982, after 5 years of operations, Roy Raymond sold the company to The Limited.

The Limited kept the personalized image of Victoria's Secret intact. Victoria's Secret was rapidly expanded into the America's malls throughout the 1980s. The company was able to vend a widened range of products such as shoes, evening wear, perfumes among others with its mail catalog issued eight times annually.

Victoria's secret is a specialty retailer of women's intimate apparel and men's perfumes. It has about 1,000 Victoria's Secret lingerie stores and 100 stand-alone Victoria's Secret Beauty Stores in the US, mostly mall-based. It sells bras, panties, hosiery, beauty products, sleepwear, and more. Victoria's Secret mails more than 400 million of its catalogs per year.

What to buy: Since this is the Largest Victoria's Secret Store in the World, I have to see it since it is near the empire state building. I bought a bunch of Very Sexy For Him 1 and 2 Eau de Cologne 3.4 ounces spray for 44.95 and bought some body sprays for sale for my friends back home 6 for $21.00 and since my purchases amounted to $140, they gave me 2 pairs fo Victoria's Secret Mini Foot Scrub Set for Free! more pictures added.

What to pay: about $ 35 for a 1.7 ounce male perfume and 44/95 for 3.4 ounce. About $ 55 for a 4.2 ounce female perfume, I dont really know the prices for the lingeries and Brassieres since i did not look at them since I am a Straight Guy!

VICTORIA'S SECRET: More than just lingerie!

Shopping here was an exciting experience as I'd never been to a Victoria's Secret before. The store is HUGE - it doesn't look so from the outside, but it has two floors and sells much more than just lingerie: bath products, make-up, swimsuits, non-sexy pajamas, etc. I thought the people inside would be really snooty, but they were actually very nice to work with and not pushy at all. One of the cosmotologists gave me a make-over for free, which was nice of her considering a full one there costs about $25.

What to buy: Look out for the deals going on in the store, because there were quite a few good ones when I was there. I was given a $10 gift card towards my purchase for answering a few questions on a survey. There was also a deal where if you spent $40 on cosmetics (which is not difficult to do at this place) they would give you a really nice bath pouch full of make-up valued at $70 and everything inside it was well worth the deal: there was perfume, mascara, hand lotion, lip gloss, blush, etc.

What to pay: If you want to buy one of those nice lingerie sets (bra and underwear) then expect to spend anywhere from $50 - $150 +, depending on which set you choose. Some are on sale but others are super expensive.

VICTORIA'S SECRET: Lingerie Magazine that every man has or should

What women in the city doesn’t know about Victoria’s Secret Lingerie? As you enter one of the beautiful stores you will find more men shopping (especially during Christmas time) for that special woman in their life. The beautiful bras and sexy undies (and not to mention the beautiful models) make this store one of the most visited in the city.

I absolutely love their lacey specialty bras and undies and of course who doesn’t love those “stockings”? I personally love the stay up stockings and recommend them to all you ladies out there.

They carry a large selection of beauty products and some of the most wonderful lotions and mist sprays that will have you smelling heavenly.

What to buy: A sexy Bra and Undie

What to pay: The average price of a bra starts at about $38 and up, undies are about $15 up. Their scented lotions are about $12
