BATTERY PARK IS A NICE LITTLE PARK AND WATERFRONT TO WALK IN. FOR THOSE WHO'VE BEEN TO LONDON THIS MIGHT REMIND THEM OF WALKING ALONG THE RIVER THAMES.

i love sitting here by the river and just look at the ferries/boats/plane whatever just doing nothing hahaha
In Battery Park, the remains of a monument have been installed. The piece of art was located inside the Twin Towers before 9/11. It is now installed in Battery Park.
While walking around in battery park i came across this imposing monument in honour of the U.S. Forces with a magnificient architectural background.

This 'sphere' was located in one of the World Trade Center Towers that collapsed. It was salvaged, but it is in bad condition. It was turned into a monument in Battery Park.
Unique art but very special, this sphere was located in front of the Twin Towers. You can see the damage that it has received.
There is an eternal flame there in memory of 9-11.

On a summy day, a gorgeous way to see New York. Did NOT enjoy the walk from the Village though...but I still love you Will!
