I don't know if it's absolutely necessary to enter the Rockefeler Center, but the outside is definitely neat to see, especially at night. There are statues and flowing water, and lights... very nice.

Rockefeller Center - in Midtown Manhattan, where the NBC studios tape their morning news show, and several concerts have been held there. Also very close by is the Radio City Music Hall.
The Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall
Another corny long lived New York Tradition!!!!It's a fun show and they change it every year.
ROCKEFELLER PLAZA. This is like being in a movie. I can't remember in how many movies the protagonists are ice-skating, of course in winter. Nice, in summer, to drink something!
ROCKEFELLER CENTER. Atlas, with his brothers fought agaist Zeus. His punishment was to carry the sky.He is the symbol of the strenght that carries the Universe.
As you look up at it and watch the clouds go by, it's quite a joy-ride! You can feel the earth rotating!
The fountain at the front of Rockfeller Centre. At Christmas a huge tree is put up here and it is a sight to see
