East River side of Mahhattan is the home of the United Nations, international organization founded 1945 following unsuccesful attempt of establishing League of Nations after First World War.
The tour takes an hour . There are four impressive council chambers to see. Everyone was taking pictures .

about 20$ you can make stamps with your face in it. It's great if you are sending cards back home. And rest of the stamps are good souveniers from UN.
