The falls at night by tpangelinan These are the horseshoe falls at night, the best viewing can be caught on the Canadian side. This is a great night time thing to do and rather romantic too! So grab your partner and your camera and head over the bridge to the Canada side and enjoy the show! The time is from dark to about midnight and the lights change about every 15 minutes or so. It gets very cowded and some times you may get wet from the mist depending on how strong the wind is and what direction it is blowing. Bring extra batteries! Leave a Comment Theme: Other

The falls at night by tpangelinan You must go see the falls at night, they light them up and change the colors every 15 minutes. This is a very cool thing to do at night if your not into the party thing or gambling. It usaully last about 3 hours or so. They shine some very bridge lights on the falls from the Canadian side on both sets of falls. Depending on the time of year will depend on what time and for how long. Bring your camera and a tripod if you have one so you don't have camera shake and you will get some very nice shots. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

Every evening at 10:00 p.m. there is a fireworks display over the Falls. Grab a seat at the Red Coach Inn's outdoor patio, have a drink or coffee, and watch the splendor. It's an excellent view. We stayed at the Holiday Inn. The bartender there used to work for the Red Coach and, coincidentally, an elderly gentleman sitting at the bar was once the head chef. They had wonderful stories - I could have sat and listened all night, but my intention was to get a nightcap for hubby and me and return to the room. According to the these gentleman, the Red Coach has the freshest seafood, flown in daily from Boston. Had our stay been longer than one day, I would have liked to sample it.
Anything goes - dress according to the weather. I hit the gas instead of the breaks, officer! by Lady7 Like the umbiquious Starbucks, this chain of restaurants is in every big city in America it seems. Average food, decent prices, the real draw is all the goodies that you'll find hung from the walls (& sticking out of them too!)
Dress code is casual, just don't go in naked! Leave a Comment Theme: Eating and Drinking

by Randall_Burt There are many things to do at night. I reccomend the Canadian side. There are Museums, A Casino, Lots of shopping, Strip Joints, Everything is shown in Canada. Mints and Sundowner are the two best strip Joints in the Falls area. I know Mints has both entertainment for guys and gals.
Dress code is casual. Leave a Comment Theme: Live Music

I don't have a particular favorite, but there is the casino right across from the falls, and the immediate area surrounding it was quite busy on a Saturday night. If you want to give money away and don't have anything else to do, then going to some of the falls-area shops and casino is alright.
You can dress very casual, though the casino might have a dress code, so you may want to check before you go in there. Leave a Comment Theme: Eating and DrinkingDirections: Everything on the Canadian side is centrally-located and not difficult to find.

by Jimmy_Stimm If you're a sports fan the Niagara University men's basketball team is worth the $7 ticket price. The Purple Eagles are competitive in the NCAA and are looking to make the March Madness tournament this year for the first time in 30 years. The level of play is exciting and the campus is beautiful. The hockey team is also nationally recognized and play on campus as well.

The waterfalls and the mist are just behind me by Maggies Maybe it's hard to believe it but really, there is no nightlife in Niagara Falls. There are few pubs, usually closing after midnight and it looks like there were no people out at night. If you wanna party you have to go to Canadian Niagara Falls (that's what taxi driver told me). Unfortunatelly I didn't have Canadian visa. Theme: Other

in Ontario, right across the US - Canadian border, there are great opportunities for going out. Since in NY, you are not allowed to drink alcohol beneath the age of 21, Canada is not far away ... it is a favorite place in the weekends for the students in Buffalo :-) Leave a Comment Theme: OtherDirections: Niagara Falls
