Olympia Family Restaurant: good food

The Olympia is aimed at providing good food for the whole family and it is owned/operated by a nice family of Greek descent. This family has operated restaurants in Greece for several decades and has had the same good food and service in each of their restaurants.

The setting is 1980's diner with table and chairs or booths or stool and counter.... sit wherever you choose. The atmosphere is very casual; oriented to familys' night out.

The menu has a wide selection of American favorites (hots, hamburgers, mac/cheese, tuna fish) but they also serve chicken french and prime rib or a seafood plate. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Friday nights (Fish Fry) is the only night that you must get there early or wait in line.

The service is friendly and fast or you can order take-out. The only down-side is that it gets quite noisy when the diner is crowded. The portions are good-sized and the prices are average for the area.

Greece Police keep everything safe and quiet

There is no crime risk to speak of in North Greece. It is primarily farm land and new housing tracts for upscale home owners.
About the only problem in the area is vandalism and drunk driving.

You should have no problem on your visit to North Greece.
