Clarence Fahnestock State Park. It is a nice bicycle ride from either Brewster or Cold Sring. You may take a train to either location from Grand Central station.Nice mountain biking in the park.Swimming, rowboat rental.Limited number of tent sites.

West Branch resevoir has excellent fishing.Trout,perch,pickerel.

Equipment: If you are 16 or older you will need a NYS fishing license. Everyone needs a permit from New York city
