This is a picture of the river from my campus dorm room. When the ice and snow melted we would ride the river in tire tubes. We would start on campus and stop downtown at one of the bars. After a few beers to warm us up, we would walk back to campus carrying the tire tubes. Always a great time.

There are 2 rest areas off Interstate 87 to the south of Plattsburgh with incredible views of the Adirondacks.
