Dirty Pierre's is by far my favorite restaurant that I have been to in all of New York. I love the atmosphere and the food is excellent. It is a local place, not posh, a little rough around the edges, and almost tacky. But it is very cozy and friendly. I go there alone several times a month.
You enter through the bar section and the crowd could be yuppies or a rougher looking group depending on the night. Regardless, don't let them intimidate you from making your way to the raised dining area. It will be worth the effort.
Favorite Dish: My favorite dishes are the hamburgers, the meatloaf and mash potatoes, and the brownie and ice cream with chocolate sauce.
