Whenever we visit my niece, on the weekend we usually get a dozen doughnuts and some coffee from this breakfast chain.

It is counter-service with a few small tables for those costumers who don't wish the normal take-out. The service is pretty fast (they make money by doing volume business). The staff are usually highschool or college age people trying to make a few dollars. You can call-ahead your order and they will have it ready or you can use the drive-up window and not even get out of the car.

The store must have dozens of different kinds of coffee to choose and 40 pastry/doughnut items to pick. Recently they have added muffin and croissant sandwiches and bagels with spreads.

It is good food at reasonable price and quick to get and you don't have to dress-up.

(from the ads) it is conveniently right on route 146

Rexford is a very safe upscale community which rates in the top 10% of safe places to visit in New York State. My niece has lived there several years and has nothing but nice things to say about the neighborhood. There are no sex offenders registered there either.

Use the same safety actions you use at home and you will be just fine in Rexford.
