    What makes this restaurant special? The beauty of the location-- a 100 year old Adirondack Lodge on a beautiful Lake; the charm of the owners; the quality of the food. The lodge also provides beautiful overnight accommodations.

  • The Belvedere restaurant is quaint and the towns people usually go there to eat and drink, bar is adjoining the restaurant. Very casual dress. Price is right.

    The Hotel Saranac is a bit fast paced and a bit dressier, and a bit more pricey.

    prices are moderate. the atmosphere is great. tiled floors and low lighting. great fun festive atmophere. especially for small gatherings. a definate favorite amoung the locals who call it simply 'casa'. No credit cards excepted.
    Lakeview Deil offers homemade soups and sandwiches. The owners are 'always there' so service is terrific although they do not provide indoor dining. In the summer they do provide a few tables outside. Beautiful view of Lake flower while you eat.

    all the entrees are terrific!

  • The menu is extensive but the Food Bar offers up such a high quality of options at such a great price!! Friendly atmoshphere and great service make this one a favorite in my family!!

    The whole Food Bar!!! Michelob Amber Bach (on tap!!) Hometown brew of Moose Island Ale is fabulous!!!!
