Ultimately there is only one way to get to Sunny Shores and that is along East Lake Road.
You can come from the north on I-390 or route 15 and connect to route US20 to get to East Lake Road. Or you can come from the south on route 15 or route 256 and coonect to Sliker Hill Road to get to East Lake Road. But eventually you will get to East Lake Road.
And a car is the only practical mode of transportation to get here.

Once you are here, you can rent a boat (or bring your own) and travel up and down Conesus Lake. You can ride a bike up and down the hills on the east side of the lake. In winter, you can even find some of the snow trails and skidoo or ski or go out on the lake ice (it gets a foot thick).

Car rentals are available 10 miles away but on the west side of the lake in Geneseo (Enterprise, 4243 Lakeville Road, 585-243-6660).

not a lot of road options here terrain map shows steepness of local hills
