I was uncertain just where to put a tip on watching SU sports teams.
It certainly would fit "local customs"
if the catagory "Must See" still existed it would fit there,
It almost fits "Tourist Trap" also!!,
But then again it might be a "Warning or Danger" (some people become addicted!)
But seeing as there is a slot for "Sports Travel" we will name this:
"Have Team, Will Travel"
Equipment: binoculars, seat cushions, tailgate "goodies", parking stub, game ticket, lively sense of "living" viciously!
.Just because it is winter and the lake is frozen over doesn't mean you have to give up sailing. At least not in Central New York!
This picture was taken at the foot of Cazenovia Lake along SR 20. It was difficult to catch the iceboat as it was moving so fast!
I used to have season tickets for the SU Football games. Then the team became bad and the fans became boring with everyone sitting on their hands. Now, I just watch SU Football on TV. Even though SU Football is not as good as in the past, it can still be a fun experience.
If you are into Hockey, check out Syracuse's AHL Hockey team at the War Memorial in downtown Syracuse.
Watch the Syracuse Skychiefs Baseball team play at P&C Stadium. The stadium holds 11,000 and is good place to watch the Triple Syracuse baseball team. Nice place to take the kids!
Equipment: Baseball glove
