Chesterfield Restaurant: Mangia, Utica

rdywenur Says:  The restauarant is a small restaurant with just enough ambiance of a local neighborhood and dash of upscale dining. My favorite dish was the Chicken Riggies. A unique dish born of this area. It is a light red sauce with chicken pieces and hot cherry peppers. Just enough to...

Then...Brian signing autographs

One of my fondest memories was of the local most popular band "Target". Now you have to travel to SC to see them. Once they came to Rochester where I caught their act and a most terrific display of drum playing by Maurice. What a show. My last time to see them was when they were playing in Alexander Bay while I was there for the weekend.

Cornhill -- Another View

Cornhill -- Another View, Utica

EileenK2 Says:  Corn Hill looks a lot worse than it is. The main problem is that it is abandoned and lonely at night. Eagle and Rutger Streets are the ones to stay off of at night. There are just too many empty lots.I used to use James Street if I wanted to walk through Cornhill at night to...

Obviously Waterville. We were four English guys staying there for a while, but because it's such a small place we became famous enough to get in the local newspaper as the first international people to ever stay there.

Go to a small town called..., Utica

Drazzig Says:  Go to a small town called Waterville 40 minutes away. It's a typical small town with wooden houses where everyone knows everyone. Just like a movie set. We stayed with a friend who's family were the kindest most generous people I've met. Woodstock '99 in Rome. We...
