This franchise started as a pizza shop and has now become a popular restaurant.
They pride themselves (and rightly so) for serving nutritional as well as good tasting meals.
Soup, Salad and a Chicken Entree have some of the lowest grams of fat in local restaurants.

I go for the nutritional meal with a veggie soup and balsamic dressing on the salad and Chicken Thumbs (cute name) with honey-mustard sauce. My wife likes the Caesar Salad platter which is a huge bowl of greens of various sorts with peppers and onions and cabbage, all covered with meat strips and cheese and a side container of your favorite dressing for you to use as you want.

The menu also has all kinds of pasta and pizza dishes if you are into those meals. Tortelacci, Shrimp Scampi, Fettuccini, Penne, all served with veggies and chicken strips. Their famous Deep Dish Pizza is still a favorite choice.
They also have kid-sized portions at a reasonable price reduction (great for families with finicky kids).

The restaurant is casual dress and the booths are wide and comfortable (seat four easily). The tables are heavy dark wood and the floors are dark tiles. The staff are friendly young ladies who take your order and serve the food in about 15 minutes.

This is nothing fancy; just a typical, nice American restaurant with good food for about $15 per person.

This is a chain, but at least it's a good one. They make all their bread and baked goods on site out of natural, fresh ingredients.

Favorite Dish: Montana Muffin - Full of whole grain goodness, with some fruit thrown in for good measure.

The homemade granola is delicious, as are the breads.

This place is an amazing oasis in the Southern Tier of Upstate New York. Who would ever think that in this fairly rural area there would be such a fine pub with 36 interesting beers on tap?!?

They also serve food: Spedies - the local specialty, and other assorted bar food. I had some kind of steak and cheese sandwich on my last visit, which was pretty good.

You should also try the cheese & cracker (saltines - weird, but it works....) basket and add the pepperoni, onions, and hot mustard. One of the bartenders(?) makes the mustard, and a key ingredient is.... you guessed it.... beer.

Dress Code: None. Some people are there after work, some after their volleyball game.

Some world famous players (Tom Kite and John Daly) have played tournaments at this fine course. You can play 18 holes for $25 plues $10 for a cart (recommended).

The course plays quite long (5500 yards to over 7000 yards) so give yourself a good 4 hours for 18 holes.
Start at the completely stocked pro shop (shirts, shoes, gloves, slacks, hats, equipment, accessories, and more). Talk to the pro and get some tips and extra balls to replace the ones you are going to lose.

On the course you will find a plethora of hazards: water at the green; sand traps guarding the greens; deep rough; narrow and bending fairways; mature trees placed strategically to test your ball control. Pretty easy to end up at least 20 over par unless you ease off the power and keep your head down.
