Dakota Grill: country eating
This is an all-American bar and grill that is popular in the winter with local snow-mobilers.
They have an extensive meat-and-potatoes menu that they have augmented with pasta and seafood dishes to attract more customers.
Their Prime Rib (huge portions) or Filet Mignon is excellent. They keep it nice and juicy even when you ask for medium-well done. They have a hearty mixed-vegetable soup-of-the-day that is almost a meal in itself.
You will need a doggy bag to take home half the meal because they don't skimp on the portions. The prices are pretty hefty too ($30 per person for dinner) but it is the best place in town (in fact it is just about the only place in town).
They are always offering daily specials and if you get those you will save quite a bit on the bill.
They have added live and DJ entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights which we have never attended but wich I have heard are really a great time (if you are into the bar scene).Related to:
