Epstein's Kosher Deli: The Knishes of course!

Epstein's is a large kosher deli where you can eat just about anything kosher. They have a large menu to choose from and you can either eat in or order to go.

My favorites are always the knishes or the hot dogs, yum!! I have also had their hot pastrami sandwiches, the brisk of beef and turkey sandwiches are very yummy!!

Favorite Dish: Whenever I shop at the Christmas Tree Shops I usually stop here to grab a yummy knish or a hot dog.

La Panetiere: Totally Amazing

Restaurant is a french country cottage in a beautiful garden. The restaurant carries the garden inside with floral touches and spectaular views. The upstairs room is a greenhouse overlooking the spectacular gardens.

The wine list is impressive. Service is beyond impeccable; food comes out of the kitchen in chorus. Chef: Jean-Marc Cabirol and Chef Patissier: Didier Berlioz do an exceptional job of preparing beautiful & delicious foods. Everything on the menu is just exceptional.

Dinners have become a bit pricey, lunch is prix fix and more reasonable at $25.00.

Favorite Dish: Beef, lobster, cheese, foie gras, and the deserts are to die for!

Trader Joe's: Great place to shop if you're on a budget

My daughter and her husband are on a pretty tight budget and even though she shops at Whole Foods for certain items, she tends to shop more here because of the prices. I'll usually come here to shop with her if we're in the area. When you are on a tight budget, every penny counts, so Trader Joe's is a great alternative for her organic items.

Trader Joe's can be compared to Whole Foods (a lower end version) with a wide range of Trader Joe's products, from milk products, to canned goods, dry foods, frozen foods or just about anything you can find at a grocery store. Their prices are very reasonable, especially for the organic items which is the reason why you would shop here.

They even have an amusing side...their Italian items are called "Trader Giotto" and the Mexican items are "Trader Jose"....cute!

What to buy: Anything you can imagine a grocery or supermarket would have. I usually will pick up a small basket of blueberries and rasberries. I love their frozen riccotta and spinach ravioli as well as their frozen mini tacos.

Their yogarts and cheeses, breads and cereals are really good too!

What to pay: Cheap, really cheap...

Christmas Tree Shops: I love shopping here for just about anything!

My daughter and I love shopping here. Although it is called the Christmas Tree Shops, they sell everything you can imagine. From seasonal items to decorate your home for any holiday and yes, especially Christmas.

They carry a wide range of arts and crafts, home and house wares, linens, candles, frames, children's toys, bathroom items, cleaning products, pet items, floral arrangements and even food. This store is as varied as it comes. The best part? It's super cheap!!

What to buy: I recently picked up some Halloween items to decorate my place, some assorted fall plates for every day, a vase for a flower arrangement I'm making, the flowers for the arrangement, cleaning products, a nice fall rug for my exterior door and some assorted pillow cases.

What to pay: Super cheap, anywhere from $.99 and up, but items are below average prices compared to other stores
