White House Black Market is a store that carries womens dresses, pants, shirts, shirts, shoes and acessories. The clothing is primarily in black and white ; sometimes they have a hint of another color or a dress in a bright pik or red. The clothing is very well made and perfect for work, going out or a party. Liz likes their clothes and owns many of their dresses. The sales associates here are very helpful and friendly...they make shopping here stress free.

What to buy: Anything from a shirt to a party dress...they've got something for everyone.

What to pay: Relatively inexpensive. Dresses can run between $148-$179.

I love this store. Located in The Westchester, Black/White is a fantastic place to find that little black, black and white, or white cocktail dress in the right length for a speical evening out, weddings or any other special occassion.

They also have some smart clothing (limited) that you can wear to work or just hang around in.

What to buy: I've purchased many cocktail dresses here and recently purchased two, one for my counsin's wedding in March 08 (see the pic) and one for a special event I'll be attending in July 08.

What to pay: The prices are reasonable with most dresses costing between $120-$150 but if you catch them during their sales, you can chop off sometimes 50% from the original price.
