Mirrored Sunset

Each night, we aimed to get a fabulous picture of a sunset somewhere in along our journeys across the great USofA, but each evening we were so engrossed in conversation or music, the picture perfect moments slipped right by until all that was left was an amber glow along the clouds or mountain tops that seemed to sneer at us and say "One more lost sunset" ... HA! We were headed in the wrong direction, but with a little determination, caught this one in the rearview mirror~

Oh gosh ... dress code is whatever is appropriate for your tastes ... unless it interferes with that award winning snapshot ... then come as you are!

Platinum is the best disco in Washington DC. Very often they'll have live music and there are 3 floors with different types of music there. Entrance is between $15-$30, but it's usually pretty packed. Just like all the other discos, Platinum closes at around 3am :(

No Jeans, No Sneakers and must be 21 to get in!

	Gay 90's Bar: Small Town Local Bar in Naco, Arizona Tip Rating:

There are three things people go to the Gay 90's Bar for. Drinking, listening to country music and shooting pool. Hours are 10 AM to 1 AM 365 days a year. The decor was normal for a bar. Neon advertisements for various alcoholic beverages and posters for beers many with scantily clad women. The main difference was the mixture of advertisements and posters in Spanish. The two pool tables looked pretty good. A tall glass of Sprite cost me a buck. Photo to follow.

The clientele tended to be older (like senior citizen older). Dress was blue jeans and western style shirts mixed with a couple of guys in motorcycle gear. Bottom Line: Dress down or you will stand out even more than you already do since you are not a local.

Okay, so there's a cover...that part doesn't impress me so much, but since there was a band (though it WAS country), we were okay with it. When we got in, the cover was forgotten as we reached the bar and discovered the seats are saddles. You get to drink on a saddle! That's so great. We had a great time with that. It's a bit touristy--there are other bars that are MORE touristy in Jackson Hole and there's definitely more locals here than anything else. Great bar, great people, great drinks!

Cowboy Hats. Jeanette and I passed up on that, though.

I was so excited to be given a second chance at going up to the volcano, especially at night. I thought it was pretty exciting in the afternoon, but it was totally AWESOME at night! We saw for miles where the glowing lava was flowing down the mountain. What a thrill it was standing on lava that was hot just hours prior, or watching shelves split, lift and send lava pouring in a new direction!

Where sturdy, covered shoes, bring a flashlight, and a light windbreaker.

Well is hard to describe the nightlife of a country just in a few lines.Obviously in the United States like in rest of countries in the world,you can find the best nightlife spots in the big cities.

What about the nightlife in New York,Las Vegas,Chicago,Boston,Los Angeles?? in all these cities and also in lots more,you can find some of best Theaters,Night Clubs,Discos,Live Music,Classical Music Concerts,Operas,Adut Spots and lots more of course!!.

I enjoyed very much the nightlife in New York,Washington D.C and of course during my three days in Las Vegas.

This is a nightview of the Strip in Las Vegas.

Nothing special really, but thought I might mention this to the weary road traveller ... beware of the SPLATTERBUGS ... they come out during a certain season, and anyone caught with splatterbugs on their windshield will be met with inquiring minds. I so look forward to the topic of conversation at the gas station ... "So, splatterbugs are out, huh?" Keep a bottle of window cleaner in your trunk.

Come as you are, the bugs don't look where they're going anyway.

B.L.U.E.S is one of the best blues bars in Chicago. There is music here every night that features many of the finest blues musicians that the Windy City has to offer. B.L.U.E.S. is not very large but you usually can find a seat as there seems to be more stools per square foot than any bar I have ever visited. The cover is around $10.00
