Julian Price Memorial Park is located at mile marker 297 on the Blue Ridge Parkway and has several miles of scenic hiking trails. The most popular trail is the Price Lake Trail, a short 2.7-mile loop around the lake. The Boone Fork Trail makes a big look following the Boone Fork a mile or two before reaching Hebron Rock Colony, where the river cascades over gigantic boulders in the river.

You have had a busy couple of days in Blowing Rock, visiting and sightseeing and now its time for a quick break from vacationing. Visit Memorial Park where you can have yourself a picnic lunch (maybe pizza from the local constabulary) and layout a blanket on the ground and lay back and relax. You might even catch an impromptu bit of musical entertainment from locals playing at the park gazebo. There are ball fields and playgrounds for the kids to get out some of their pent up energy while you get some much needed down-time.
