    It's only a tourist trap because everyone wants to go here and it's not all it's cracked up to be. So I hear. You'll wait for a long time if you go during the leaf season when all the tourists are here.

    Fun Alternatives: I'd try some of the many other eccentric and unique restaurants on the main strip. To name a few, Angelica, The Black Cat, The Boone Saloon, The Red Onion, Lia's, and The Mellow Mushroom should get you started.

    DONT go to Tweetsie Railroad.

    Unique Suggestions: Hike Grandfather Mountain. You have to pay ~10 bucks to drive to the top, but the hike is very cool, somewhat challenging, and very memorable.

    Fun Alternatives: Just drive the Blue Ridge Parkway and make frequent stops with your camera
