The name of the bar is really called ‘He’s Not Here’. It is described as being on the Village Green. In 1800 I am sure it was, now it is down a small alley way that does actually open up into an outside area. There are a few trees and a little bit of grass. This is a great place for music. They have bands all the time. A great night for live music is usually a Thursday night. A small cover charge is payable. My fraternity (Phi Kappa Sigma) used to rent it out on Thursdays and hire the bands. The cover charge paid the bar, the band and our bar bill. Not bad for just $1.
The drink of choice here is the ‘Blue Cup’. 32 ounces of beer. Beer it is then for everyone. The bar is upstairs in a narrow and long building. The toilets from hell are downstairs.
Do not forget to collect a FREE bumper sticker that says ‘He’s Not Here’!

Go catch a movie at The Varsity located right on Franklin Street. I went to a movie here a couple years ago and inside it's just a normal movie theater, but the old fashioned movie marquee on the outside adds a little something extra to the movie going experience.
Woody's is a pub located on Franklin Street that is popular with students and is always packed on game days. It's named for its owner, Woody Durham who is the longtime radio voice of Carolina basketball.
