Part of the reason that Cameron Indoor Arena holds so much mystique for college basketball fans is around the difficulty surrounding getting a ticket. With enough students to fill the entire arena alone, Duke University has put in place measures which limit the number of students who get to attend each game. Cameron Crazies, as they are known, will camp out in front of Cameron for days before a big game, in order to draw lots of tickets so they can go inside and cheer for their team. Here is a picture of the tents that student groups build in front of the stadium. This little community of tents is known as Krzyzewskiville, named after the famous Duke Basketball Head Coach Mike Krzyzewski, or coach K to those who do not want to try and butcher the name.
For those of you who are not students, I would recommend the ticket office first, and then purchasing it from a scalper second if you want to ensure you can get in the game.

Durham is home to the Duke University Basketball program, one of the best in the country and if you're here, you better pick your team. You see, Durham is one corner of what's known as the Research Triangle. Duke in Durham, UNC-Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill and NC State in Raleigh are the three schools in the area and each is supported well by crazy fans.
