The Yadkin Valley Chamber Promotes and Supports an Annual Wine Festival. This past year, May 2008, celebrated the 7th such festival. I attended and it was great. Live entertainment, arts and craft vendors, food booths plus lots of wine, naturally.
You pay $20.00 to get in, and all the tastings from each of the vendors is free. There were at least 20 vendors too, and they don't care if you come back for more!
The bands were fun and seemed like a full day of entertainment for the entire family. If you go, let me know! I will join you.
Nice building, well decorated on the inside - apparently to divert the diner's attention away from the food. Food served (eventually) swimming in a puddle of greasy, foamy liquid - perhaps some sort of shrimp gravy. Waiter rude, more interested in discussing with his co-workers his latest sexual escapades (loud enough for all to hear) than with serving his customers. Fifteen percent tip already added to bill when received, despite poor service.
