The place isn't much to look at, but the food is the pinnacle of Southern cooking. As a barbecue lover who's been to and fro in the Southern US, Bubba's barbecue sauce is better than any that I've ever had. You know it's good when they sell it to you for your at-home use in a suntan lotion bottle and motor oil bottle. The slaw, fries, mac-and-cheese, and cornbread are all also superb. The fried chicken does not disappoint, either. Basically, there is no better day than a day spent at the Frisco beach building up a hunger for an evening spent at Bubba's.
Favorite Dish: The sliced pork platter with extra barbecue sauce, cornbread, fries, and mac&cheese is honestly what I'd ask for if they gave me a "last meal" inquiry.
Check out the Quarterdeck Restaurant on Route 12 in Frisco for some good seafood. Open for lunch and dinner. Any thing you could want in seafood, broiled or fried, kids menues, so stop by and grab a bite.
You can get breakfast and dinner here, from eggs to pizza. In season Tuesday through Sunday, (no credit cards accepted!!) ao bring money. Lots to choose from, so stop in.
