    Oconaluftee Visitors Center: more gifts

    by bigorange1103 Written Jul 15, 2005

This visitors center is located on the North Carolina side of the park, just outside of Cherokee. It has the same type of items as Sugarlands but in a smaller quantity. There is something special about this one though. Behind the center is a trail that takes you through a working farm. It is called the Mountain Farm Museum and during the summer months they have people acting out how it was to live years ago!! A definate must see!!
