Please take care of the dunes as they are protected by the National Park Service, and Rangers do ride up and down the 27 miles of beach to keep them safe. They can and will fine you if they catch you. So just a heads up, please use the paths and trails provided and try not to step on the dune grass it is fragile. These dunes serve many purposes and are vital to the servival of the island.

Surf fishing is a big thing down here so bring your gear if you got it! You can surf fish right in front of your rental house if you want to.

Sea turtle nest sites are protected by the National Park Service, so please take care to not disturb these marked off areas. Would love to see them hatch!
