There is an abundance of wildlife in the park, birds, deer, and others, though probably nothing dangerous but it is hard to get up close and personal. To really optimize your wildlife viewing experience, take your binoculars and boat, or you can rent a canoe or rowboat for $5 an hour or less, but they do not rent binoculars.
