I wanted to do some activities where my family and I could learn about the history and attractions of New Bern. I looked into alot of tours and found the "Lookout Lady" which offered Scenic River Tours. My kids and I went on the 2 hour boat ride and it was the highlight of our stay. What a fun and unique way to spend the afternoon! We got to see all kinds of different things that we would've never been to able to see if not on a boat. One of the neatest parts was seeing all the celebrities homes from the water and we even saw some otters which my kids loved! The captain was so nice and knowledgeable about the area, my whole family learned alot and thoroughly enjoyed the personal service we got while on the tour. I would recommend this tour to anyone, and we will definitely be looking for more things like this wherever we go in the future.
