The Turtle Hospital is known the world over. The place is just beautiful and blood pressure drops 20 points when I visit. Thios is one of the most beautiful Places in the World! I The food, people and Views are WONDERFUL!
If you go, Have lunch at "Andy's" in Sneads Ferry and Dinner at the RiverView Cafe in Sneads Ferry. You WILL return. On the Ocean with Seafood and the best Steaks around!

For the very active- wind surfing and surfing are offered on the Island along with
parasailing. One of the most favored activities are the Kayaks which are easily rented
on the Island. This is great if you want to explore some more remote locations and just take time more slowly and enjoy seeing some wild life such as the endangered Osprey which nest all along the Island.
