Front Street Diner, Wilmington

Wonderful view... see all the boats.. and wonderful food and service... have tshirts you can get to take home with you, they are bit of a fashion statement... definitely a must have!! :)

Don't take reservations, first come first serve... but upstairs is a favorite of mine... you can see EVERYTHING and its Air Conditioned!!! :)

Favorite Dish: Shrimp & Grits... Charleston... and great ceasar salads... crab dip is a great appetizer and the crab nuggets will never get old!!!

Favorite Dish: The American Ale was excellent and the crowd was very welcoming. I sat and talked with locals and tourists alike for three hours while sipping the handcrafted beers and eating a really good crab cake sandwich.

Every time I walked by this place it was full of people who looked like locals. That's gotta be a good sign. I didn't have a chance to eat here, though, but I'll go out on a limb and recommend it. Don't send me the bill if it's not good!

Front Street Brewery is a good place, a little too expensive for a college kid. Down on the beach side is the Oceanic but it's expensive too. Your best bet is to go to the place that looks the dirtiest and the most run down. It's the little places that always have the best food.
