Visit Theodore Roosevelt...

by pipsqueak

Visit Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The Park has a north and a south unit and the undeveloped Elkhorn Ranch unit. The south unit has a little prettier scenery in my opinion, and a lot more visitors too. Both have Badlands and wildlife.Medora is a good base/tourist trap if you are visiting the south unit. The north unit is fairly close to Watford City.

Jamestown, North Dakota is on...

by pipsqueak

Jamestown, North Dakota is on Interstate 94 and is a decent place to stop if you need a break from being in the car. There is a 'Frontier Village' with some authentic and replica buildings and quite a few restaurants. This large fiberglass bison is very close to the Frontier Village. Theoretically, if there was a tribe of fiberglass Native Americans they would be able to use all the parts of this Bison. Nothing would be wasted.

The littlest pheasant

This chick is a little more manageable in size at only twelve feet tall. But he's an ornery chick--got that killer look in his eye. If I were a scrap metal worm, I'd be worried.

North Dakota State Fair

by Kawarimono

If your here at the end of July, you must go to the state fair. There are many great attractions there such as rides, concerts, judging competitions, and much more. It runs from July 18-26.
