We asked at the motel reception about a restaurant. The girl was very enthusiastic about a restaurant nearby called ' The Forum'. Our waitress looked suspiciously like her sister...
The service was good, atmosphere so-so. But if you were staying at the Comfort Inn, it would be a good choice.

Favorite Dish: We had:

Starters - Greek sampler plate with stuffed grape leaves, spanokopita and feta.

Mains - broiled tuna with dill sauce, grilled swordfish

The food was very tastey but the portions were way too much. Most of it went back to the kitchen.

Luggage and bags: The lodge and cabin have all the convienences of home.
Camping.. have nice showers and also paved handicapped walkways thru the wood.
NICE GOLF COURSE!! REALLY HILLY

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: In the summer... it can get pretty warm. Prepare to go to the lake! Bug spray in summer for walking in the woods. Comfortable shoes!!!
Winter...If you snowmobile... there are snowmobile pathes thru the wood. Sled ride down the rolling hills at the golf course!

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: NOTHING SPECIAL Depends on camping vs. lodge stay.
Hospital is close. Pharmacies are also close by.

Photo Equipment: bring all that you have!
Ohio Magazine also holds contests for nice photos of the park.

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: The ususal. Maybe a beach picnic basket! Nice island off from main beach with trees and tables!

Favorite thing: Go to the Little Ice Cream Parlor in old Cambridge.
It is located on the main drag. Wonderful homemade icecream and a little old fashioned dining area.

Fondest memory: The quiet and peaceful green grassy fields, the wide open lake, the deer which inhabit the forest, and the
warm fireplace at the Lodge.
