Mariemont Theatre, Cincinnati

Sister theatre of the arty Esquire Theatre, Mariemont Theatre is located in stodgy-yet-quaint Mariemont. If you can't find that art/foreign flick at the Esquire then you definitely can find it here! I've seen the newly re-vamped Hitchcock classic Rear Window with Jimmy Stewart & Grace Kelly. On the big screen you could see how luminous she looked and you could count every wrinkle on his stomach! A great experience, nonetheless. Like the Esquire, the serve popcorn with real butter here and an assortment of gourmet snacks such as Swiss Lindt chocolates (with raspberry filling - my fave!)

Next door you'll find the wonderfully eclectic international fare of the renamed Quarter Bistro - don't be remiss in trying their fab Cuban bread!

Or if you're in the mood for pizza (and MadforParis says to try it with sesame seeds on the crust - mmmm) you'll wish to dine at Mio's located just around the corner!

Or if wine plus a bite to eat is preferred you'll enjoy a homey night out at Dilly Deli. They also have live folk music on the weekends - a nice place to bring the family & hang out!
