Taste of Cincinnati is much like the other taste-fests throughout the country; they feature live bands and admission is free but there are food booths from various great restaurants throughout the city including some of my faves:
    Burbank's Real Barbecue
    Izzy's
    La Petite France
    Mecklenberg Gardens
    Melting Pot
    Shanghai Mama's
    Smokey Bones

Haven't been to Bella Luna's yet but their offerings for this year look great; this is the thing that makes this fest so worthwhile is sampling fare for a few dollars which gives you an idea of what the restaurant will be like. Sort of like taste before you go kinda concept!

This year is the 30th anniversary of the Taste so I won't be missing this one! It runs May 24-26 (Memorial Day weekend); see you there!!

About a 4 to 5 block section of downtown Cincy is closed off to create a pedestrian only area. Area restaurants set up booths to let you sample thier most unique and most popular dishes at $1.50 to $4.00 per serving. Local radio stations have a variety of live entertainment going on at several stages and amusement rides are also available to entertain the kids.
