Located inside Progressive Field, Heritage Park is the Indians tribute to players of the past. You can find it out in left field near gate A. A walk through the two levels of the park will bring back memories of some of the best players to have played for the Indians.
Be sure to read the plaques to find out some interesting facts about some of the players.
Catching a game at Progressive Field is a great way to spend an afternoon or evening. Hanging out and rooting for your favorite team with 37,000 other fans is as american as apple pie.
The stadium is nicely designed and the sight lines are excellent. Depending on where your seats are located, you can check out the game from various angles. The upper deck was not my favorite place to sit, our bleacher seats and first baseline seats were much better. There is definitely a place for everyone, no matter what your price range. Tickets ranges are $8 - $65.
The Cleveland Indians have played baseball for decades, yet the teams average age never seems to change. While not as taxing as football (American or World versions), it still takes young men to be the best. The Indians used to play at Lakefront Stadium, the home of the Cleveland Browns. But along comes a redevelopment plan for the Central Market area of town and a new stadium and arena were included. Gund (now Quest) Arena is the home of the Cavaliers. Jacobs Field is the 'new' home for the Indians. It's better suited for the task, as it's designed around a ball field, not a football field.
