This is a lovely park that hosts events June-August. There are a ton of concerts here in the nice weather in their outdoor amphitheater. Some are dance, modern theater, or traditional musical productions. They have one of the biggest art festivals of the year. There are usually over 150 vendors. They also have $2/Tuesdays which allow you to get in for a general admission to see a variety of new music.
This is one of those places that a lot of Clevelanders dont know of, especially if they live on the westside. Go where?!

Looking for your favorite toy from back in the day? Don't want to spend hours on Ebay? You have to stop by this little toy store. They have a great collection of action figures, old video games, and traditional toys from the 50s. The place just moved down the street to double its size and it is still jam packed with toys from floor to ceiling. Board games, lunch boxes, magnets, are a more of the small collectibles. They also have a "spencers" type selection of gag party favors. The store owner specifically looks for vintage toys, so if you are looking for something odd, ASK!
The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is AWESOME. My household had a membership, and I must have gone tens of times during the two years I lived in Cleveland. This zoo is spacious, with constant revisions, revamping, additions, improvements--it's just a great place. The wolf exhibit is a highlight, as is the Australia exhibit. You can buy little cups of nectar to take into the lorikeet aviary, and sometimes the birds will sit on your fingers (shoulders, hair, wherever they can perch) and be your friend. Until the nectar's gone. Awww...I just went to check out the web page before adding this tip, and there is a new baby zebra and Azizi the baby black rhino has a sister. Dash and Danz are over three years old and are big tigers now. Nostalgia, wistfulness. They grow up so fast. Also there is a baby giraffe again. I was blocking that part.
