Graeter's Ice Cream: Homemade Ice Cream

  • They only use the finest quality ingredients, including fresh dairy cream, rich dark chocolate, and hand-selected fruits and nuts.

You can't go wrong by selecting either Mint Chocolate Chip, Mocha Chocolate Chip or Toffee Chip.

  • Its some of the best ice cream in the world. The ice cream is so smooth and tasty and they have chocolate chunks in thier ice cream that can get up to about the size of half a candy bar. Its heavenly. Definitely go there if you get the chance. Everytime i come back to Ohio, i have to go here almost every day in order to try and get my fill before i leave. It hasn't happened yet... Its not very fancy looking but oh man, is it wonderful tasting and the place is never all that crowded, so it is nice to go with a group and sit and talk and relax for a while.

All of them are great but my favorites are Black Raspberry Chip (oh god, even thinking about it, i am beginning to crave it again...) Peanut Butter Chip, Buckeye Blitz, Cookie Dough Chip... mmm.... I want...

  • Haiku is a great restaurant. You can eat wonderful sushi and read and write Haiku poetry. The restaurant provides scraps of paper and pencils so you can drink sake from their amazing sake menu and create your own poetry. The food was fresh and tasty and its a place I've returned to on my various trips to Columbus.

I really enjoyed the unagi; it was very fresh and the glaze was very flavorful.

  • Best restaurant in Columbus, Ohio. Chef Handke is a Certified Master Chef that has studied all over the world. His expertise comes out through his cuisine. The restaurant is in an old beer cellar. Very romantic and beautiful.

Caesar salad served in parmesan cheese basket, veal entree, and of course the chocolate terrine. There is also a desert trio that has three or four different desserts. yum

Hounddogs, Three Degrees of Pizza (and Ravari Room: The best Pizza in Columbus

  • The restaurant is kind of dark, and sometimes the service isn't that great (if say you go at 3am), but dude the pizza is amazing with and extra zing! I personally believe it is worth it. There is a bar (Ravari room) connected to HDs, so you can go over there get a glass of beer and drink it with your pizza in the other room.

They have a parking lot in the back, a little hidden if it is your first time there.
    Open 24/7

Get the Smoking Joe's crust! it is the garlic butter crust, and babe you will be very glad you got it.
I like a lot of veggies on my pizza, but really as long as you've got the SJ crust, you can't go wrong

  • This is my parents' favorite place for pizza, and I would never have been introduced to it if they hadn't taken me there. They serve pasta, salads, sandwiches and steaks too, but since I only get to eat there about once a year, I go for the pizza every time.

The atmosphere is very laidback. I've been to two of their locations (Sawmill and Hilliard), and both of them have friendly service. It's also a kid-friendly place. The Sawmill location has a Sunday buffet.

I think it's obvious by now...the pizza. I like mine with mushrooms.

  • A local mom & pop shop serving up great sandwiches.

I can't remember the name of the sandwich, but it had lots of meat, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes on an Italian sub bun with a side order of chicken dumpling soup.

  • The restaurant has two ambiances, which change from lunchtime to dinner time. Lunch is a little more casual and dinner is a white table cloth affair. I prefer to go a lunchtime, but hey, you want something romantic or a little more swanky then dinnertime would be the time to go.

Not the best place for young kids

Spaghetti a la Gigi, not a very exciting dish, but yummy all the same....

and then a Tart! The tarts are really amazing, with pieces of large pieces of fresh fruit and topped with a glaze, you'll want to get extra to take home.

  • This is an elegant, romantic place for a dinner, or great for a casual lunch with friends (especially on the terrace when the weather is nice). They serve breakfast here too. And the best thing about it is that it isn't too expensive. You can have French cuisine or pasta dishes. Lunch is a nice variety of sandwiches and salads. The desserts are a thing of beauty - luscious pastries and tarts! The entrees are tasty, but the true emphasis here is on the baked goods...fresh croissants and baguettes, which you can, of course, take to go.

The atmosphere is French country. Evenings mean dimness and candlelight, and French music (Edith Piaf, probably) playing softly in the background.

I haven't had anything here that I haven't found exceptionally good. And they now seem to have even more on their menu since the last time I was there. I remember the Beef Bourguignon being particularly delicious. They also make a great Caesar salad.
