The restaurant is kind of dark, and sometimes the service isn't that great (if say you go at 3am), but dude the pizza is amazing with and extra zing! I personally believe it is worth it. There is a bar (Ravari room) connected to HDs, so you can go over there get a glass of beer and drink it with your pizza in the other room.
They have a parking lot in the back, a little hidden if it is your first time there.
Open 24/7
Favorite Dish: Get the Smoking Joe's crust! it is the garlic butter crust, and babe you will be very glad you got it.
I like a lot of veggies on my pizza, but really as long as you've got the SJ crust, you can't go wrong

So you just got out of a club, bar, or just need a late night study break? Buckeye Don's is where to go. This small dineresque, gyro and donut shop is well known and good eats. You can get a meal (gyro, crinkle fries, and a pop) for about 5 bucks, and the more donuts you buy the cheaper they are, and they are always fresh. You never know who you are going to meet there, and I have been pulled into conversations with strangers many a times there.
Veggie options available!
Open 24hrs, 7 days a week
Favorite Dish: Gyro, crinkle fries, pop + apple donut = me so very happy

Need a spot to relax, have a pleasant conversation, Zen Cha is the place for you. Relaxing music, and a very harmonious decor. A great place to stop when you are gallery hopping, or hanging out in the Short North.
Zenny's has tea from everywhere. It is really hard to pick form the menu. I recommend if you aren't big on tea to get a fruit infusion, one of the German teas or a cold tea smoothie, bubbles anyone?
I guarantee there will be something that you like. They also have an absolutely amazing Sunday brunch. Seriously, I would go here for bunch over any other place I have been.
Teas run about 5$ a pop.
Favorite Dish: I really like the Black Forest German tea, but really any of there brunches are incredible.

The restaurant has two ambiances, which change from lunchtime to dinner time. Lunch is a little more casual and dinner is a white table cloth affair. I prefer to go a lunchtime, but hey, you want something romantic or a little more swanky then dinnertime would be the time to go.
Not the best place for young kids
Favorite Dish: Spaghetti a la Gigi, not a very exciting dish, but yummy all the same....
and then a Tart! The tarts are really amazing, with pieces of large pieces of fresh fruit and topped with a glaze, you'll want to get extra to take home.

This Cafe and Bakery is extremely cute. You walk in there is a large selection of Coffees and Teas to warm you up if it is chilly. It is set up in small tables where you and your friend can sit and chat, but they can accommodate larger parties. I took my mom there for her birthday, where we sat 8 (call ahead for the reservation though). The food is very good, mostly of German/Austrian origin, but they boast to have a lot of different dishes from all over Europe. They have a grand piano in the corner, and when we were there the woman played classical music for us, and when we brought out the cake, she played Happy Birthday and everyone in the cafe sang.
However, it is not the best place to bring kids.
They also have a parking lot.
Favorite Dish: Ok, the food is good, but what will get you is the cake! The cake is expensive, but well work it. I got my mom a chocolate cake (about 30$). It was hand decorated with dipped chocolate flowers. The first thing my mom said to me after trying it was, "this is a whole lot better than the cake your sister had for her wedding", and I totally agree.

You want Chinese, your friend wants Indian, your mom wants Italian, and your younger sister wants Strawberry Rose petal Ice cream, and uncle Fred is a Vegetarian... whew what to do?! In my opinion there is only one place to go, and that is the North Market. They have every type of food you can think of, along with desserts, specialty wines and beers, cheesea.... the list just goes on and on....
There are picnic tables to eat on outside, and also the whole up stairs is filled with seating. However if you go around lunchtime, I guarantee it will be packed! (but that is how you know it is good)
Or if you want to do some cooking, they also have a fish monger, fresh poultry, eggs, utensils....etc.
Some Artisans also have stands in there too.
They have a parking lot, which is very important to have in Columbus, don't forget to get your parking validated.
Favorite Dish: i love the Vietnamese food. I get the number 9 all noodle (it is chicken, veggies, that usually comes with half rice half noodle) and then the spring rolls which are so good, they usually sell out by 1 -2pm everyday.
After that I go over to Jeni's Ice cream stand and pick out some specialty Ice cream, it is absolutely amazing, with flavors you would not have even imagined.

Fantastic food at all times as Cameron Mitchell's Ocean Club is a cut above. It is located at the very trendy Easton Town Center and sits essentially in the middle of everything.
Favorite Dish: Everything is good, but I like the steaks

Thai Taste is a low key place with excellent and potentially face melting spicy food. They have a "spicy scale" and I can tell you that "Thai Spicy" is pretty damn spicy!
Favorite Dish: ckicken w/ green curry
Panang Gai
pad thai

Its some of the best ice cream in the world. The ice cream is so smooth and tasty and they have chocolate chunks in thier ice cream that can get up to about the size of half a candy bar. Its heavenly. Definitely go there if you get the chance. Everytime i come back to Ohio, i have to go here almost every day in order to try and get my fill before i leave. It hasn't happened yet... Its not very fancy looking but oh man, is it wonderful tasting and the place is never all that crowded, so it is nice to go with a group and sit and talk and relax for a while.
Favorite Dish: All of them are great but my favorites are Black Raspberry Chip (oh god, even thinking about it, i am beginning to crave it again...) Peanut Butter Chip, Buckeye Blitz, Cookie Dough Chip... mmm.... I want...

I saw this place a couple weeks ago when driving around town. I asked a friend of mine about it and he said it was very good. So I had to try it for myself. The Q2 Bistro is in an upscale shopping center and this little place had some really great chinese food. Just look at my pictures. They look good enough to eat. The decor is nice to look at and it has a modern feel. The service was really good and the food was fresh hot and very very good. They have asian beers and a full service bar. The drinks from the bar are teeny tiny though. There is a 42 inch tv when you come in the door. The prices are about average here with appetizer of a single egg roll about $1.50 and the average dinner being about $10 - $15 dollars. Beers were 4$ and drinks were $3.50. I would reccommend this to anyone. But I think I will get takeout from there next time. The only thing I didnt like about this place was every time the door opened we got a cold draft of air. But it is zero degrees out right now...
*****I found coupons for a free appetizer or 5.00$ off a meal online. Do a search for Q2 bistro. The site was the valpack site where I found the coupons.
Favorite Dish: The Mongolian trio was what I had. It was excellent. Had a great flavor and fresh veggies. The shrimp were huge and delicious. IT was a shrimp, chicken and beef combo that was a little bit spicy and very good. I will post more about the food after my second trip to the place when I can try something else. We also had the appetizer sampler which was 2 eggrolls 2 spring rolls and 2 crab rangoon for $6.95.

Columbus is the capital of Ohio. It does not have many attractions that would cause a visitor to specifically come here but it does have quite a bit to do.
