Whenever we need to hold a corporate dinner, we host it at Smith & Wollensky and everyone loves it. We joke that we have to turn out the lights to get our customers to leave. The food is great, service is exceptional and the ambiance is very nice- light and airy. During the summer you can eat outside on the patio.
Favorite Dish: I LOVE the mash potatoes- which is saying a lot because I usually take a pass on all potatoes. I would recommend starting off with some seafood and the Wollensky salad. Then move on to a filet. Smith and Wollensky is known for their tender USDA steaks. Be sure to save room for yummy desserts- cheesecake is fantastic as is the carrot cake. They also have a nice wine list.

So you hear all this talk about the Cheesecake Factory being so special. Well I guess it is if your going for Cheesecake it is. Here is the low down. The food is great. Yes I will say that much. But be sure to share your meal with whom ever you are dining with. The portions are so huge way to much for one person to eat. If you plan on ordering drinks from the bar order two at a time. The bar service is so slow. At one point we waited 10 minutes for a drink and when I got my glass of wine the glass was chipped. Now how did this get past the bartender and the server is beyond me. So I opted for a margarita instead this took another 10 minutes to get. After dinner I wanted a Bailies and Hot Chocolate because the temperature in the resturant was really cool. The server came back 5 minutes later only to tell me she couldnt do it unless she brought me a hot chocolate and a seperate shot of bailies. Since the hot chocolate had to come from the Bakery. Over all we had a good dining experience because the food was so good and the service other than the bar service was ok.
Favorite Dish: We loved the Crispy Spicy Beef. This dish is amazing. It has crispy beef (yummy) green beans, and carrots served in a spicy sweet sesame sauce that is to die for along with a side of white rice. The club sandwich was huge and looked good and our other friend had a southwest chicken salad that looked amazing.

Well this place is a Sports bar with about 20 -25 42" LCD TV's and a nice Juke Box with lots of music. There is a pool table as well as dart boards. Happy Hour Beer is only 1.75 and the pizza is amazing. YOu can eat it at the Bar, take it home or have it delivered. It is really a nice atmosphere with a varied crowd. Lots of people have a beer while they wait for their pizza. I will take a pic to post next time I devour a Classic Pizza. Fresh toppings hot delicious pizza. If your looking for an alternative to Greesy Nasty Pizza Hut Pizza this place is your answer.
Favorite Dish: Pizza any pizza is amazing. Wow this stuff was great. Real cheese lots of toppings and made fresh. Friendly service

This place is cool and classy. The food is more or less Asian fusion. The sushi isn't bad for the Columbus area. The location is great, as it's right on the Short North. If it's a gallery hop night and the weather is nice, try to get a table on the patio. It's a great place to people watch. The bathroom is something to check out for sure. The water in the sink comes out of a stick of bamboo. I've had some great memories of that place.
Favorite Dish: The chicken lettuce wraps are my favorite. It's delicious.

Great food, great wine, great ambience, great location, great prices. That's pretty much all there is to say. The Burgundy Room is on the Short North, which makes it a great place to go if you're attending the monthly Gallery Hop.
Favorite Dish: Tapas, of course. Everything.

This is one of my favorite Columbus restaurants. It's a great date restaurant. The ambience is elegant, yet not over-the-top. The service and the food is also great. It's part of the Cameron Mitchell chain, which is very familiar in the Columbus area.
Favorite Dish: I haven't had anything I didn't like from that restaurant, and I've been there many times. Last time I went, I had an amazing martini with berries and champagne.

I love this restaurant. The ambience is a little retro, a little casual, and all around cool. The food is great. The menu is chock full of good 'ole American comfort food: meat loaf, chicken pot pie, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese. However, Cap City makes comfort food original with impressive presentation and other little touches, such as making the mashed potatoes spicy. It's just a great place. I've been there many times. You can make a date out of it by eating dinner at Cap City and then going to the movie theater a few doors down.
Favorite Dish: I love the meat loaf and the pork chops. The dessert is great, too.

The location is what makes this place special. ITs on Hoover Resivor in Westerville which is slightly North of Columbus. The atmosphere is nice and the menu is varied. Ther service is really good and the food was hot fresh and delicious. I had the sirlion steak and a baked potato. Steak was cooked to perfection and the potato was hot and fresh. The margarita special was 3 dollars so I enjoyed two of these tasty drinks.
Favorite Dish: Menu varies here you can order something as simple as a pizza and a burger to something fancy like steak or fresh fish.

This is my absolute favorite place to eat in Columbus! The building doesn't look like much from the outside but don't let that stop you. The inside has a bar and jukebox on one side and a bunch of tables on the other. It's a family owned restaurant since the 1920's. There's a lot of old pictures and newspaper clippings on the wall with local baseball players.
The food is a mish-mash of different things but the only thing worth getting is the pizza and it's a very casual restaurant.
Favorite Dish: The only thing I ever get they're is pepperoni pizza. The pepperoni is spicy, they put tons of cheese and the crust is sweet. I'm not sure what they put in it and I know it sounds weird but trust me, you're gonna love it!
It's also good cold/room temp unlike any other pizza I've had.

This an excellent place with a eclectic group of people who frequent here, it is at once a great place for breakfast, a wonderful coffeehouse, and nice place to grab lunch or dinner. The place is designed in a 1960's hippy type environment, complete with a small stage for poetry readings or small group jam sessions. There are couches too, if you just want to chill and read or write the next great american novel. The owners are wonderful too, they are aging Ex-Hippies, who are very laid back and cool.

Columbus is the capital of Ohio. It does not have many attractions that would cause a visitor to specifically come here but it does have quite a bit to do.
